News December 9, 2015

On December 3, 2015 Adventist University of Chile (UNACH) graduated 41 individuals who completed the requirements for the Diploma in Evangelism and Education for Health. This one year training program is offered by the Faculty of Theology to prepare pastors and others to more effectively contribute to outreach of the church through Comprehensive Health Ministry initiatives. The students focused on principles of healthful living, mission to the cities, management of centers of influence along with field projects on campus and in the surrounding communities.

Several of the graduates shared how this program has changed their lives in positive ways and opened doors for evangelistic activities in the neighboring cities. These classes were taught three evenings per week after regular school hours. The graduates eagerly anticipate practicing the principles they learned in this historic course under the guidance of Dr. Walter Alaña, Dean of the UNACH Faculty of Theology.
