Many victims of human trafficking have experienced ignorance or misunderstanding in their attempts to get help. This year’s world day against trafficking in persons theme is “Victims’ Voices Lead the Way.” It highlights the importance of listening to and learning from survivors of human trafficking. This is true for all forms of abuse. The SDA church continues to speak up and raise awareness about abuse and violence through the end it now campaign.
