The fabled city of Beirut was the landing destination of Drs. Landless and Handysides, as they came to the end of an itinerary that included Russia, Geneva, and the United Arab Emirates.
The Adventist University is set high on the hill, and overlooks the city. At the University’s weekend services, Dr. Peter Landless spoke for Friday evening vespers and Dr. Allan Handysides at the divine service Sabbath.
A revitalized work is being implemented by the Union workers under the leadership of Pastor Homer Trecartin.
The Health Ministry Leader, Pastor Ott, is vigorously establishing centers for community health education, thereby seeking to bring hope where there may have been despair.
